Hello to those that have been depressed since I have stopped posting!
I now have the time to start blogging again, hurray! I am excited to start again during the summer. I am currently at home soaking in the good life. Well kind of, my family has its own type of whirlwind busy-ness. And as soon as I get home, I get thrown into it. I still find time to relax —I mean come on, it is my summer. I don't mind it, I feels like I am somehow reliving the glory days of when I lived here full time.
This summer I am going to be learning how to live like a normal person during a summer vacation, because I've been in Drum Corps for the last 6 years during the summer.
I have set myself up, so that I won't get bored during the summer, with plenty of things to do. I am in a online summer class until July, I have several commissions on the back burner, I have a list of several things that I would be interested taking tutorials on, I have the Xbox Kinect Zumba game, and a little sister who wants to create a duet dance together. Plus, I have an iTunes gift card I still need to use and several ideas of books to order from Barnes N' Noble.
My mom is going to blog this summer too! Her blog is techit2thenextlevel.blogspot.com
I think that I should be set for the summer, and the summer boredom syndrome. Anyway, look forward to hearing from me for the rest of the year!

No, I have not forgotten
As many of you know, I am currently swamped with my to do list. And it seems that my to do list got longer this weekend when my Internet decided to be dumb. So I am currently blogging from my phone. But right now is not the best time to give my thoughts because I should be sleeping. I just had to post so that I don't start a tumult of late posts! Ciao!

Apparently being consistent: late update
Lots of things going on right now.
I just got my laptop back, and I have yet to organize everything that needs to be organized. I really need to focus. This following weekend I am hoping to hole myself into my room and get everything done that needs to be done. The past two days I feel like I've done accidental procrastination. I keep forgetting that I am taking 19 credits, and I can't play with my friends everyday who only have 12 or 15 credits. I want to graduate this semester, and I want to take all the classes that I am currently taking, but with the added social aspect of being a student, it becomes difficult to focus!
I am going to get back on track!

Busy, busy, busy!
It was a busy Sunday night, it was homework night, and then after that it was preparing to go back to school Monday. I didn't roll into bed until 1:40a or so. The things that my sister, my dad, my mom, Oma, and I did yesterday are as follows:
I think, but I'm not sure, that Dad snow blowed the driveway.
Mom made chicken noodle soup for the following week for lunches
I furthered my search for a Masters, and decided on which schools I want to apply to
Mom cooked four gourds of squash for snacking
I read the syllabus for my marketing class, and it was over 20 pages long
My sister played Webkinz on the computer
Oma came over, and showed Mom, my sister and I how to make a scarf out of an old t-shirt
I outlined a paper for my management class
We all watched the football game between the Packers and the Giants
Dad took a nap on the couch
My mom, my sister and I made heart shaped sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles
Dad went and got chinese food for dinner ( and a subway sandwich for my sister )
My sister did her homework, which was reading
I read a chapter of my marketing book
Dad came back with food for dinner, and we all ate dinner
Dad fell asleep on the couch
My sister went to bed
Mom and I figured out a budget for my semester
I went to bed
My mom went to bed
So, I wasn't able to fit an update for my blog into my schedule on Sunday. I am posting the craziness of yesterday in a list, as a testament to how busy it actually was on Sunday.

New Decisions
A lot has gone on in the past three days since my last post. I almost feel that the stress is slowly creeping up on me. Going back to classes has left me exhausted at the end of the day, but I still want to enjoy time with friends and have "me time." I was able to complete the organization of my room on Monday. It practically took all the break time I had between classes, but it was worth it so that I can relax in my room.
This semester I am hoping to base everything off of plans, and griding out my time so that there is no wasted moment. It became more necessary the further I got into the week. Monday I had three classes: a graphic design practium class that deals with real clients, a graphic design history class that relates to more recent graphic designers from 1960 through now, and a management class. So a pretty full first day that starts at 8:00a and ends at 9:00p.
After a tiring Monday, I slept in Tuesday morning until my first class. I am really excited about this class because it is my first class that I've taken that is taught by Professor Bruski. It is a class that helps reconstruct a portfolio that can help in acquiring a job. This class is called professional practice. During this class, I left to get a coffee at the design cafe downstairs, and I ran into one of my favorite professors, Brenda Jones. Once I got back to class, I talked to professor Bruski about my plans for my future. His advice was extremely useful, and I developed several ideas and plans for my portfolio and this semester.
After class I headed to Brenda's office to talk with her and hammer out a few of my ideas and plans for the future, and started to move forward. I decided to take a step in advance for the future by taking an independent study class from Brenda in painting. Now, granted that I am enrolled 18 credits already, I applied for only a one credit course so that I wouldn't be overwhelmed with projects and other situations. It seems that this choice can become fairly flexible. I am so excited for working with Brenda again, and being able to paint again this semester.
I attended her class that same day at 2:00, and got all set up to be a part of the studio. After getting set up, I left to go to my Marketing class across campus. It seemed like it would be a fairly straightforward class and should be a class I can learn something from. After that class I had another graphic design class that deals with practical graphic design stuff like taxes, clients, job interviews, and guest speakers. Another long day! And that was just the scholastic part of my day, I also taked to friends and family and met up with people that I hadn't seen in a while.
Today was a long day. I only had two classes, but I also was getting things set up for the rest of the semester. I had my practium class today, as well as my graphic design history class. I also hung out with my friend Rebekah, officially added my independent study course, and took my laptop computer to get its hard drive fixed. So many things going on. I have a list super long to get in order, due dates, and plenty of syllabi to read. Wish me luck with my semester, it's gonna be a handful!
